Kumis Kucing (Orthosiphon Aristatusor Atamineus) is a perennial herb native to tropical and temperate Asia.Referred to by different names (all translating to “cat’s whiskers”), the plant got its name because of the long stamen (the pollen-producing flower) that bears a resemblance to a cat’s whiskers. Kumis Kucing is cultivated both as an ornamental plant and a traditional medicinal herb used as a remedy for various ailments.
